Day 01 : Abroad - Delhi
Fly from your country to Delhi, India. Upon arrival you will be met and assisted upon by our tour representatives at the main lounge. Check into Hotel Radisson. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Radisson (A Five Star Hotel of Radisson Group).
Day 02: Delhi (The Capital of India)
After breakfast leave for a full day guided city sightseeing. Starting with New Delhi we first visit Qutub Minar. Enjoy the Islamic style of architecture of this magnificent victory tower. Later we drive over to The Red Fort bypassing the India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan and the Parliament House. Explore the Mumtaz Mahal, now the Red Fort Museum of archaeology displaying relics from the Mughal period including numerous paintings, weapons, textiles, carpets, ornate chess sets, hookahs and metal work. A most thrilling experience of a rickshaw ride through the crowded colourful market bustling with shops, craftsmen's workshops, hotels, mosques and temples awaits you at Chandni Chowk. In evening, there will be a 'Light and Sound Show' in the premises of 'Red Fort' depicting the synopses of Mughal era. Dinner and overnight at Radisson (A Five Star Hotel of Radisson Group).
Day 03 : Delhi - Udaipur
Early morning leave for Akshardham Temple and explore an amazing world of Indian culture ornate with 20,000 statues, floral motifs, arches and exquisitely carved pillars. Post lunch transfer to the airport and board a flight to Udaipur. You are into a city set on the banks of a number of freshwater lakes, which makes the city stand out in stark contrast to other Rajasthani cities. Upon arrival check into hotel, rest of the time at leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel The Trident (A First Class International Hotel of Hilton Group).
Day 04 : Udaipur Sightseeing
The fourth day sightseeing begins with the City Palace at the banks of Lake Pichola. You should see the Mor Chowk for the gorgeous peacock mosaics, Chini Chitrashala for the striking blue and white ceramics and Dutch inlaid tile work, Manak Mahal for glass and porcelain figures and Krishna Vilas for miniature painting. Later in the day visit Ahar, where you can find an interesting collection of rare antiquities, some dating back 3000 years, excavated from the area. Dinner and overnight at The Trident.
Day 05 : Udaipur - Rohet
After breakfast, visit the world renowned Lake Palace- the chosen ambience for the famous Hollywood movie 'Octopussy',. Watch the beautiful Crystal Gallery, Darbar Hall, that will definitely enthrall you with their splendid collections and spellbinding ambience. Later in the day enjoy a boat ride around the Lake Palace in Lake Pichola. Towards the evening leave for Rohet village. Upon arrival check into Rohet Garh (A Heritage Hotel). Dinner and overnight at Rohet Garh (A Heritage Hotel).
Day 06 : Rohet
A village safari in the morning hours will introduce you to the local cultures and traditions. Later visit the local homes and feel the warmth and affection at offer. Also interact with various communities living in the area to share and understand their world. Towards the evening enjoy the traditional folk ceremonies signifying friendship and brotherhood and see village artisans at work creating leather articles, pottery and woven handicrafts. Do shop for some of these articles as you won't get a better bargain elsewhere. Dinner and overnight at Rohet Garh (A Heritage Hotel).
Day 07 : Rohet - Jaisalmer
After breakfast enjoy bird-watching amidst the rising sun as with up to two hundred domestic and migratory bird species Rohet is a heaven for birdwatchers. Later in the day drive over to Jaisalmer. Upon arrival check in at Fort Rajwada (A Luxury Hotel). Rest of the day at leisure to cater to your personal needs. In the evening you can experience the beauty of a desert sunset from the Chatteries at Jaisalmer. Dinner and overnight at Fort Rajwada (A Luxury Hotel).
Day 08 : Jaisalmer
The sightseeing begins with a visit to the beautiful Havelis in the city. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy a lavish lunch at the hotel. Towards the evening visit Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Quila). Rising from the sand , the mega structure merges with the golden hues of the desert ambience and the setting sun in its most colourful shades gives it a fairy tale look. Dinner and overnight at Fort Rajwada (A Luxury Hotel).
Day 09 : Jaisalmer - Khuri (40 km)
After breakfast, spend some time at Gadsisar Lake and have the pleasure of watching a variety of water birds, specially during the winter. Later in the day drive to Khuri. Here you will have a perfect opportunity to experience the romance of desert in the most fascinating way. Later enjoy a camel safari up to the sand dunes and let your eyes caress the sloppy sands while you ramble your way through the golden fantasy in Thar Desert. Also enjoy the spectacular vision of sunset at the backdrops of the golden desert followed by a bar-be-que dinner around the camp and folk dances. Stay overnight in one of the thatched huts in the village, a most unique and personal way to experience the traditional village life.
Day 10 : Jaisalmer - Osian - Khimsar (300 km)
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Khimsar. On the way we stop over at Osian, a desert oasis with 16 Brahmanical and Jain Temples, beautifully sculpted and designed. You will have the liberty to watch the architectural forms on a camel's back. Also view the magnificent step-wells not less then an art gallery, with its amazing architecture and stone sculptures. Later we continue our journey to Khimsar. Upon arrival you will be booked into Khimsar Fort (A Grand Heritage Hotel Run by Welcome group). Perched on the edge on the great Thar Desert in the heart of rural India, the small town of Khimsar offers out of the world experience, suffix with rural charms. Evening is kept at leisure for you to relax by the pool side of the Khimsar Fort or other recreational activities the hotel offers. Dinner and overnight at Khimsar Fort.
Day 11 : Khimsar - Samode
Today will be explore the treasures of Khimsar Fort. The battle scarred walls of the Fort will remind you of the glorious past of the village. Later in the day you will be driven to Samode, a six hour journey by road. Have a view of the beautiful countryside as you pass through the agricultural farms. After arrival your stay is booked in at Samode Palace. Towards the evening embark on a camel safari to the interiors of the village. After the village safari, there awaits a most memorable dinner experience amidst the local cultural performances. Overnight at Hotel Samode Palace.
Day 12: Samode - Jaipur (42 km)
After breakfast, visit the Samode Bagh, a romantic hideaway at a distance of just two km. from the Samode Palace. The experiences at the tented camps here will bring you closer to the soul of the country. Relive the splendour of the bygone age recreated in a tented encampment - a unique experience in royal living. Towards the evening you will be driven to Jaipur. After reaching there, check into hotel The Trident Hilton for your dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 13 : Jaipur (The Pink City of India)
The day begins with a light breakfast at the hotel. We then take you for a guided sightseeing of the city. Visit the Amber Fort enjoying an elephant safari up the hills to the fort. The fort in itself is a beautiful sight to behold but as you look on the fort with its clear reflection on the Lake Maota in the front, you cannot help but wonder if it is a dream or a beautiful illusion. Our next point of exploration will be the City Palace Museum. Explore the unusual display of the voluminous clothes worn by the royalties at the City Palace Museum. Don't miss out on a visit to the Palace of Queens which paradoxically puts a display of the Rajput Weaponry. Also look for the portraits of royalty and Jaipur Maharajas. Dinner at Choki Dhani amidst cultural performances will be an amazing experience. Overnight at hotel Trident-Hilton.
Day 14 : Jaipur - Agra (240 km)
Early morning leave for The Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal), and experience the charm of having a glance at the day to day activity of the city from the balconies (Jharpkhas) the same way as the royal ladies used to. Next head for Jantar Mantar - an observatory that still tells the correct time. We have kept some time for your shopping from the busting handicraft shops and whole sale shops dealing in rare gems and stones. Towards late afternoon we bid good bye to the Pink City of India, guess, what's next in store for you on our tour. We will be heading for the most spectacular vista of world marvel Taj, set for a four hour drive to Agra, Upon arrival check into hotel Trident-Hilton and stay overnight.
Day 15 : Agra - Sikandra - Delhi (205 km)
The fifteenth day of the tour in the end might turn out to be the most hectic one. Early morning leave for The Red Fort from where you can view the Taj Mahal in the same way as Shahjahan used to. Enjoy a lavish lunch at one of the restaurants. Then embark on a shopping spree as you visit the markets. Do shop for the miniature Taj from the market for your loved ones. Towards the evening hold your nerves as a visit to the mesmerizing beauty from the close quarters still awaits you. Enjoy the golden hue of the Taj Mahal amidst the setting sun. Also explore the engrossing architectural work on the walls of the Taj. Later, in evening you are booked with a train journey to Delhi. Overnight at Hotel Radisson.
Day 16 : Delhi - Abroad
The day is kept free for you to explore the city on your own. Indulge yourself in some last minute shopping. Later in the evening a farewell dinner is organized for you amidst cultural performances. Late evening get transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
