Women Riding Camel
One month back, when my friend Mike asked me to join him on his trip to India, I did not have any idea about the country till then, and just for the sake of our friendship, I agreed to accompany him. But now I thank him for giving me such a wonderful chance to discover the heritage of the country specially of Rajasthan. Our 'Rajasthan Delhi and Agra Trip' was a fortnight long and this half month has changed my idea about the life and people. More than anything, the simple yet cheerful rural life of Rajasthan amazed me. Prior to this trip, I could not have imagined a life without electricity, water and proper sanitation service. But now I can understand that, these are all mere materialism and the true happiness of life lies in the happy mind only. I have experienced a new light of life and now my goal is to study and learn more about the philosophy of India and its people.
